Go-live is Monday, August 24 — set up MFA now

OMCO IT Integration Hub

OMCO joins MacLean-Fogg's IT systems the weekend of August 21 to 24. Everything you need is on this page.

Correction: You do not need to recreate your email signature — it moves over automatically. Everything else in that recent email still applies.

Your email address is not changing.

You'll keep sending and receiving email at your @omcoform.com address, just like today. The only new thing is how you log in.

Your action items

Only two things are on your list. The first is required for everyone. The second is only if you want work email or Teams on your phone.

  1. Do this first — required for everyone

Set up Microsoft multi-factor authentication (MFA)

MFA is a quick check on your phone that proves it's really you. You can't sign in to the new systems without it.

About 5 minutesYou'll need: your phone and your Dayforce number

MFA setup is active now — please complete it as soon as you can.

    Step A

    Get your username and password

You'll get a separate email from UpgradeIT@macleanfogg.com with your username.

    Your username looks like this
    jsmith@macleanfogg.com
    Your starting password
WelcomeXXXXXtoMF!Replace XXXXX with your employee Dayforce number. If your number is 12345, you'd type Welcome12345toMF!

Important: your email address is not changing. This username is only for logging in.

    Step B

    Install the Microsoft Authenticator app

On your phone, open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) and install Microsoft Authenticator. It's free.

Text-message codes are being retired by Microsoft, so please use the app.

    Step C

    Connect your account

    1. On your computer, go to aka.ms/mysecurityinfo. Opens in a new tab.
    2. Sign in with your new username and password.
    3. Check the name in the top-right corner. It should show your @macleanfogg.com account. If it still shows @omcoform.com, click it and choose Add account to switch over.
    4. Select Next when asked to secure your account.
    5. On your phone, open Microsoft Authenticator and add a Work or school account.
    6. Scan the QR code shown on your computer screen.
    7. Approve the test notification on your phone.
    8. When you see "Authenticator Added", select Done.
The most common mix-up: setting this up on the old OMCO account instead of the new MacLean-Fogg one. Always confirm the name shown says @macleanfogg.com before you continue. If the page keeps remembering the wrong account, open a private or InPrivate browser window.
    Watch the step-by-step video

    Why do this now?

Finishing MFA before August 24 means:

    • Faster access on migration Monday
    • Fewer login problems
    • A smoother move into the MacLean-Fogg systems

Stuck at any step? That's okay — this is the most common question we get. Submit a help ticket and we'll walk you through it.

  2. Optional — only if you want email or Teams on your phone

Re-add work email and Teams on your phone

On or after Monday, August 24, remove your old OMCO account from your phone. Then add your new MacLean-Fogg account and follow the enrollment steps.

Don't use work email or Teams on your phone? Nothing to do here.

What to expect over the change weekend

Systems go down Friday afternoon and come back Monday morning. Here's the short version and your Friday checklist.

The window: Friday, August 21 at 3:00 PM Eastern (2:00 PM Central, 12:00 PM in Arizona) through the start of business Monday, August 24.

What may be offline during that window:

  • Email
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Signing in to your computer and company systems
  • Your virtual desktop
  • Other Microsoft 365 apps
  • Business applications that rely on Microsoft to sign you in

This is expected and temporary. Everything comes back Monday morning.

Before you leave Friday, August 21

  1. Save and close your work.
  2. Save anything important out of Teams chat into an email or a document.
  3. Copy anything saved only on your Desktop, Documents, or Downloads into OneDrive.
  4. Make sure you know the passwords for websites you use every day.
  5. Sign out of or delete the Outlook and Teams apps on your personal phone or tablet.
  6. Leave your work computer at your desk — and if you can, leave it turned on and plugged in. Updates run overnight and your Monday goes faster.
  7. Don't send or check work email over the weekend on any device, including your personal phone.

Monday morning, August 24

  • Give yourself about an hour before you need to be productive.
  • Try not to schedule a critical 8:00 AM meeting. If you have one, email us and we'll get you signed in early.
  • Your password will already be reset to WelcomeXXXXXtoMF! (X's = your Dayforce associate ID).
  • IT staff are on-site at every location, in bright yellow t-shirts, Monday and for several days after. An on-call support number is in the final reminder email.

What happens after this weekend

Later this year each site gets upgraded networks and refreshed computers — and Duo goes away for good. You'll hear more before your turn.

  • Pierceton — first
  • Phoenix, Huntsville and Talladega — September 25-27
  • Wickliffe — October 16-19

What's changing

Grouped so you can skim. One idea at a time — take your time.

Things you need to do something about

Read these first. Each one asks a little something of you.

  • Your login

You'll sign in with a new username: your first initial and last name, then @macleanfogg.com. For example, jsmith@macleanfogg.com.This is only a key for signing in. It is not an email address. Your email address stays @omcoform.com.
  • Your password

On Monday morning, August 24, IT resets everyone's password to the same starting password: WelcomeXXXXXtoMF! — replace the X's with your Dayforce associate ID number. If you change your password between now and Monday, it still gets reset Monday morning. So start with the password above. When you create your own password, it needs:
    • At least 14 characters
    • A capital letter and a lowercase letter
    • A number
    • A symbol, like ! or #
    • To be different from your last five passwords
A short phrase is easiest. Something like Coffee@Sunrise26 meets every rule. Good news: you'll be asked to change it far less often than you are today.Forgot it later? Reset it yourself at aka.ms/sspr — no ticket needed. Opens in a new tab.
  • Keep Duo on your phone

Do not uninstall Duo. You still need it to sign in to your computer until your site's network and computer upgrade later this fall.Microsoft Authenticator is being added alongside Duo, not replacing it yet. When the upgrade reaches your site, Duo goes away and you'll be prompted to sign in far less often.
  • Your virtual desktop (cloud PC)

If you use a cloud PC, you'll open it from a program called the Windows App — search for it in your Start menu. It replaces the old Remote Connect app, which Microsoft no longer supports.
    1. Open the Windows App from the Start menu.
    2. Sign in with your new @macleanfogg.com username and password.
    3. Double-click your session desktop, just like today.
Check the initials or photo in the top corner. If it shows your old @omcoform.com account, sign out and choose Add account. A "host not available" error on Monday means you're still on the old account.
  • Files saved only on your computer

Your S: drive, P: drive, and cloud apps move automatically — there is nothing for you to back up.Files saved only on your local Desktop, Documents, or Downloads folders are a different story. Copy those into OneDrive before Friday so they travel with you. Your computer is not being re-imaged this weekend, so nothing is at risk — this just gets your files where you'll want them.
  • Teams chat

Your past Teams chats do not come with you. Before Friday, August 21, copy anything you'll need later into an email or a document. Part numbers, approvals, decisions.Going forward, Teams chats are kept for 30 days, then removed automatically. Teams chat is for talking, not for storing.
  • Teams meetings after August 24

Have a Teams meeting scheduled on or after Monday, August 24? Cancel it and send a new invite so the meeting link works. This includes repeating meetings. Send the new invite after go-live.
  • Microsoft Edge and your saved passwords

MacLean-Fogg uses Microsoft Edge everywhere. Chrome and Firefox will be removed in phases, so please start using Edge now.Passwords saved in your old browser won't carry over. Before August 21, bring them into Edge: Import your Chrome bookmarks and passwords into Edge — opens in a new tab. If a site locks you out, submit a help ticket.

Things that happen automatically

Nothing for you to do here. This is just so you know what to expect.

  • Your email address

No change. Your address stays @omcoform.com. Your emails, folders, and contacts move over for you.
  • Your older email

All of your email comes with you. Mail from about the last two years stays in your inbox and folders.Anything older moves to a folder called Online Archive, just below your other folders in Outlook. Nothing is deleted.
  • Your email signature

Nothing to do. Your signature transfers automatically from OMCO to MacLean-Fogg.
  • Your computer

Your current computer keeps working. New computers come later, site by site. We'll walk you through it when it's your turn.
  • Email quarantine

Microsoft Defender now protects your inbox. Suspicious messages are held in a safe area called Quarantine so you can review or release them. This is normal. If someone says they sent you an email you never received, check Quarantine first.
  • No more “external” label in Teams

Once everyone is in the same system, you and your MacLean-Fogg colleagues stop showing up as outside guests. You'll be able to see each other's availability and schedule meetings normally.
  • Monthly security training

About once a month you'll get an email with a short training video — usually two to five minutes. These come from Arctic Wolf, our security partner. They're legitimate, and completing them matters.

Things that are not changing

A few worries we've heard. None of these are affected.

  • Your other website logins

Logins for non-Microsoft sites and vendor portals that use your @omcoform.com address — Adobe and the like — keep working exactly as they do today.
  • Website forms and inbound email

Contact forms and submissions from company websites keep arriving. Those addresses aren't changing.
  • Teams groups and Planner

Microsoft 365 groups and Planner boards move over as they are. You don't need to rebuild them.
  • Signing in to your physical computer

You'll still sign in to your own PC with your OMCO login, just like today. The new @macleanfogg.com username is only for Microsoft apps — email, Teams, and your cloud PC.

Where to get things after go-live

Bookmark these three. They cover almost everything you'll need.
